Yvonne Pinto is managing director of the Agricultural Learning and Impacts Network (ALINe) at Firetail which provides high quality technical services, research, advice, and facilitation for robust monitoring, evaluation and learning in the agricultural development sector. She has spent over 20 years in the agricultural development sector, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. She has background in plant genetics and has worked in various positions with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Gatsby Foundation, UN FAO and the Centre for Environmental Policy at Imperial College. She sits on various boards, program advisory and steering committees. She is also an experienced mentor and is an alumna the Judge Business School at Cambridge University
