Challenging Chains to Change.

This book includes case studies and examples of how integrating women into value chains can be successful. The book ultimately uses examples, case studies, and recommendations for best practices to suggest that integrating women in value chains is not only necessary, but possible. The authors include information on GALS, gendered economic competitiveness, how to analyze value chains at macro and micro levels, gender mapping, and a set of references and websites. Another particularly useful feature of this book is the people profiles, included as a way to incorporate feminist scholarship and tell women and men's oral histories.
